The hiring event is open to all residents interested in exploring construction career opportunities on any of PBC’s upcoming projects.

“The community hiring event embodies our commitment to investing in our local community and creating pathways to meaningful careers,” Ray Giderof, PBC Executive Director said.

The PBC establishes city residency and community area hiring requirements for each construction project. At the outset of a project, the PBC defines the community area, usually the neighborhood and immediate surroundings areas, where a percentage of the total hours worked on a project must be worked by residents of that community area.
