There will be a grand opening for the new playground in Marquette Park, 6743 South Kedzie at 10:30 am. The ground breaking for the new South West Area High School, 7651 South Homen will follow at 11:30 am. Please join Mayor Richard M. Daley, the Commissioners of the Public Building Commission, the Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Park District for these events.
