The project consists of the renovation of existing restroom facilities by use for the patrons of Busse Woods (E. Higgins Road/Rte. 72, East of I-290/Hwy. 53 in unincorporated Cook County) and Dan Ryan Woods (S. Western Avenue and W. 78th Street in Wards 18 and 19).

The proposed renovation scope to the existing restrooms will include at a minimum: reroofing, providing barrier free access, new doors, lighting, flooring, and replacement of any nonfunctioning or damaged elements.  Complete cosmetic upgrades at select restroom facilities may include replacement of existing dividing cmu walls with new toilet partitions, new finishes and all new fixtures and accessories.  Potable water will also be provided through UV water treatment at four facilities in Busse Woods.
